Ridge, NY – Brookhaven Town Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro and Councilwoman Jane Bonner have announced the recent completion of an 8-road paving project in the Lake Panamoka area of Ridge. Prior to paving, crews completed concrete improvements, inspecting all area drains and repairing and replacing damaged concrete sidewalk, aprons and curb. The total cost for this paving project was approximately $716,000. “The roadways in this Lake Panamoka neighborhood had severely deteriorated over the years,” said Superintendent Losquadro. “Residents can now enjoy a safer, smoother drive.” Councilwoman Bonner said, “Sidewalks and well-maintained roads are so important for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers to feel safe when they are on the road. Thank you to Superintendent Losquadro and the men and women of the Highway Department for making the roads around Lake Panamoka safer and easier to navigate.”
