Crews are working on Randall Road in Shoreham, whe Crews are working on Randall Road in Shoreham, where they are installing a turning lane and traffic signal in front of the Albert Prodell Middle School. In addition, crews will be inspecting drainage and replacing damaged concrete aprons, sidewalk and curbing along Randall, as well as on Albert Street and George Avenue. Once this paving preparation work is completed, Randall Road, Albert Street and George Avenue will be resurfaced.
Crews are in Center Moriches on Monday, July 27, m Crews are in Center Moriches on Monday, July 27, milling Belleview Avenue, along with St. Johns Place and St. Johns Place Ext. Weather-permitting, they will return to resurface the roadways on Thursday, July 30, and Friday, July 31. Please avoid all unnecessary travel in the area during these times.

Crews have been in Center Moriches where they are Crews have been in Center Moriches where they are widening Wading River Road at Brookfield Avenue, completing drainage improvements, rebuilding a traffic signal and replacing damaged concrete sidewalk. Once this paving preparation works is completed, Wading River Road will be resurfaced from Railroad Avenue to the Sunrise Highway North Service Road, along with the Sunrise Highway South Service Road from Wading River Road to Old Schoolhouse Road.

Once this paving preparation work is completed, Middle Island Road will be resurfaced from Rocky Point Road to Middle Country Road, along with Nicole Place and St. Francis Blvd.
On Tuesday, June 23, crews will be in Bellport mil On Tuesday, June 23, crews will be in Bellport milling Mooring Drive, along with Bellhaven Road from South Country Road to Overlook Drive. Weather-permitting, they will return to resurface the roadways on Wednesday, June 24.

The Town was recently selected as a recipient of a NYSDEC Climate Smart Communities Grant and will be moving forward with the design of the Bellhaven Flood Mitigation Project, intended to mitigate flooding and improve water quality in Bellport Bay. This project, which is anticipated to start construction in late 2027, will include the replacement of drainage structures, pipelines and outfalls; the addition of backflow prevention devices and water quality systems; and raising select portions of project area roadways including Bellhaven Road (south of Overlook Road), Overlook Road, Buscher Court, Shields Court and Lindner Court.
