Superintendent Losquadro, Councilman Panico Announce Paving of Eastport Manor Road, Manorville

Manorville, NY – Brookhaven Town Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro and Councilman Dan Panico have announced the complete resurfacing of Eastport Manor Road from Ryerson Avenue to County Road 111, as well as Lane Road and Scudder Avenue in Manorville.

This paving project included the milling of nearly 7,400 square yards of roadway, before nearly 1,000 tons of asphalt were put down on the roadway. The total cost for this paving project was approximately $72,000.

Superintendent Losquadro said, “Eastport Manor Road is a main thoroughfare in Manorville and a roadway that was in need of repair. Our 2020 paving season is off to a great start as we move across Brookhaven improving its infrastructure one roadway at a time.”

Councilman Panico said, “I’m pleased to see this paving project completed for our residents. Superintendent Losquadro and the Highway Department are working hard to resurface and maintain our roadways in a town that is geographically larger than Nassau County. We are hopeful that the state of New York doesn’t cut our funding so that projects such as this can continue.”
