Brookhaven, NY – BrookhavenHighway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro recently awarded two local high school seniors with $500 scholarships from the Suffolk Country Highway Superintendents Association.

The recipients—Isabella Salducco, a Patchogue Medford High School senior, and Kyle Buck, a senior from Comsewogue High School—both plan to pursue careers in engineering and were selected as recipients of this year’s awards.

“I am always impressed by the quality of the applicants who apply for the Highway Superintendents Association scholarships. This year, we had a record number of very impressive applicants making the selection process very challenging,” said Superintendent Losquadro. “I wish both Isabella and Kyle all the best as they continue their education and hope they will return to Long Island to pursue their engineering careers and share their talents with us.”
