22 Sep Superintendent Losquadro, Councilwoman Bonner Announce
Wading River, NY – Brookhaven Town Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro and Councilwoman
Jane Bonner have announced the completion of a $1-million Wading River paving project.
Prior to paving the six roadways in this project, crews inspected drains and removed and replaced 5,940
linear feet of damaged concrete curb and 4,300 square feet of concrete aprons.
Roads resurfaced during this project include: Frost Lane, Gateway Drive, Marian Street, Russell Drive,
Thomas Drive, and Zophar Mills Road. The total cost for this paving project was just over $1 million.
“The resurfacing of these roadways will provide some much-needed relief for motorists, pedestrians and
bicyclists in the area,” said Superintendent Losquadro. “We continue to move through the Town
repairing damaged infrastructure one road, and one neighborhood, at a time.”
Councilwoman Bonner said, “The kids are back in school, and the Town has been busy working to make
our roads safer. I thank Superintendent Losquadro and the Highway Department for making roads and
sidewalks a number one priority in my council district and throughout the Town of Brookhaven.”
