Superintendent Losquadro, Councilwoman Bonner Announce Completion of $2.2-Million Miller Place Paving Project

Miller Place, NY – Brookhaven Town Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro and Councilwoman Jane Bonner have announced the completion of a nine-road paving project in Miller Place.

Prior to paving, crews inspected and installed drains; repaired and replaced damaged concrete curbing, sidewalk and aprons; and installed ADA-compliant handicap ramps at a cost of approximately $81,000. The nine roadways that were resurfaced include: Helme Avenue, Helme Avenue Extension, Islander Court, Jessica Lane, Memorial Drive, Miller Place Road, Miller Place-Middle Island Road, Miller Place-Yaphank Road, and Mt. Sinai-Coram Road. The total cost for this paving project was approximately $2.2 million.
