Prior to paving, crews inspected and cleaned all drains within the paving project and completed any necessary concrete restoration, including repairing damaged aprons and curbing. Mill Road was resurfaced from Granny Road in Medford to Patchogue Yaphank Road in Yaphank.

Superintendent Losquadro said, “Mill Road is a heavily traveled thoroughfare used by motorists and pedestrians traveling between Medford and Yaphank. This 2.1-mile stretch of roadway now provides a safer, smoother ride for all those who travel it.”

Councilman Loguercio said, “This is a stretch of road that is heavily traveled by residents, school districts and those going to and from work. Thank you to Highway Superintendent Dan Losquadro and all the hardworking men and women who make our roads safe for our community.”
