10 Jun Brookhaven Highway Superintendent Awards Two $750 Scholarships to Graduating Seniors
Brookhaven, NY – Brookhaven Highway Superintendent Daniel P. Losquadro recently awarded two local high school seniors with $750 scholarships from the Suffolk Country Highway Superintendents Association.
The recipients—Alexander Gentile, a Center Moriches High School senior, and Megan Pendzick, a senior from Shoreham-Wading River High School—both plan to pursue careers in engineering and were selected as recipients of this year’s awards. “Each year, we are increasingly impressed by the quality of applications we receive for these scholarships, making the selection process more and more challenging,” said Superintendent Losquadro. “Megan and Alex stood out for their extremely impressive academic records, career goals and experiences. I wish them both all the best as they continue their education and hope they will return to Brookhaven to pursue their engineering careers and share their talents with us.”
